Superman

This usually happens when the person flying the kite becomes overpowered and either forgets or does not have time to deploy a safety system.

It is often a common outcome of the learning phase, whereupon the powered up kite flier accidentally places his kite in the most powerful part of the wind window and finds himself being propelled upwards and forward out of control, usually with his head and arms well ahead of his body in a superman flight position. The superman usually terminates with a spectacular face plant and optional ambulance ride.
