Face plant

Being pulled forward and arriving on your face or face down lying position by kite power alone.

This usually happens when the person flying the kite becomes overpowered and either forgets or does not have time to deploy a safety system.

It is often a common outcome of the learning phase, whereupon the powered up kite flier accidentally places his kite in the most powerful part of the wind window and finds himself being propelled forward out of control.

A more exotic form of face plant is preceeded by a superman.
